Nursery Plum - Red Nose Day
We had a great time for Red Nose Day this year. We dressed up in whatever made us happy, we enjoyed learning about Red Nose Day and decorating our own red noses. We created our own red nose biscuit and had a delicious Red Nose Day snack of jammy dodgers and strawberries. What a fun day!

Using compass directions, we followed simple instructions to find where the treasure was buried on our map.

For Red Nose Day we came to school wearing what made us feel happy. We also learnt about why we have Red Nose Day.
Using a compass - 1 Birch
During Geography we have been learning how to use a compass, we used them on mpas to discuss where different things were using North, South, East and West.
Exploring Money - 1 Birch
During Maths this week we have been looking at money and how to make different amounts using coins. Today we played 'shops' we choose different things to buy from the shop and used the coins to make the correct amount.
Girls' Football
Well done to the girls who won their cup game 7 - 0 this evening. Well played girls and thank you for representing the academy in such a great way. Thank you.
Basketball Team
Congratulations to the basketball team who qualified for the Tameside finals next week. Great effort and sporting behaviour by the team who played 6 games tonight - winning 5.
Let's hope for similar in the finals.
