What a busy few weeks Year 6 have had since their return after the holidays!

Year 6 were learning about the human body with reference to the circulatory system.  This resulted in the children being engrossed in many different activities and experiments including cutting up a heart to see the different sections, balloon activities to demonstrate oxygenated and deoxygenated blood cells travelling around the body, planning and carrying out their own scientific pulse rate experiments and writing letters to their future self with regards to staying healthy (including food, drink and smoking).

As you can tell, the children have been so interested in their learning - especially the looking at the heart - although some did go a little green!
