Today we had our first session of RWI (Read, Write Inc), the children had a great time learning their first sound and practised writing it outside and in their books. The children met Fred the Frog and helped him to blend the sounds together to make words.
We have sent home sheets for the children to practice their sound and if they bring them back tomorrow completed they will receive a smiley. WOW! What a lot of fun for a Monday!
