The children enjoyed a visit from Mr Alan Ames and a selection of his beautiful Birds of Prey. The children learnt about the ecology and conservation of Birds of Prey and got to see some very beautiful birds of Prey up close, these included Alaska the Alaskan Bald Eagle and Sparky the Owl. It was amazing how calm and tolerant the birds were surrounded by a hall full of excited and noisy children. The birds are a credit to Mr Ames and the children will not forget this awesome experience.
